Author Guidelines

Jurnal Rekognisi Manajemen (JRM), with e-ISSN 2829-7938 published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Jepara. This journal is a national standard with a main focus on student research in the field of management. The purpose of JRM is to disseminate the results of student research in the field of management, includes four main concentrations, namely financial, operational, marketing, and human resource management. An example of an article written in the format is HERE.

Guidelines for Manuscript

  1. Title of manuscript: The title should be informative and be written briefly and clearly. Cannot have multiple interpretations. It must be appropriate to the problem to be discussed. The initial word is written in capital letters and is symmetrical. Article titles do not contain unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written down first and followed by an explanation. The title of the article must be written no more than twelve words, 12pt font size, bold, and center. While the abstract must be written in a maximum of 250 words and followed by three to five keywords.
  2. Introduction: The introduction should contain (sequentially) the general background and state of the art as the basis for new questions, statements of new scientific articles, main research problems, and hypotheses. At the end of the introduction, research purpose should be stated. In the format of scientific articles, it is not allowed to write references such as in research reports. They should be represented in the literature review to indicate a brand new scientific article.
  3. Methods: Methods applied to solve problems, including types of research, data sources, measurement of variables, populations and samples, data collection methods, and analysis techniques.
  4. Results and Discussion: The data presented really comes from the results of the study. Research results must be supported by sufficient data and can be presented in tables, pictures, and/or other charts. The findings are answers to the research hypotheses that have been stated previously in the introduction. The results are described in detail in the Discussion section, including the logic of the author's thoughts and arguments based on these findings.
  5. Conclusion: This is the last section which contains conclusions and suggestions. Conclusions should not only contain repetition of results and discussion. However, it must be a summary of the research results as expected by the author in the research objectives or hypotheses, suggestions related to further research. Conclusion can also include research implications, limitations and recommendations for future research.
  6. References: All references used in the article should be listed in this section. In this section, all references used must be taken from primary sources (scientific journals and at least 80% of all references) published in the last ten years. Each article must have at least 20 references.
Citation and Reference Guidelines
  1. Authors must cite one or more articles from Jurnal Rekognisi Manajemen.
  2. All data or citations presented in articles taken from articles by other authors must attach a reference source.
  3. Referrals should use a reference management application , we recommend Mendeley.
  4. The citation format used in Jurnal Rekognisi Manajemen follows the format of APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association).
Online Submission Guidelines 
  1. Documents must be submitted via OJS on E-journal JRM portal
  2. Authors must register as an author in REGISTER
  3. After the registration step is complete, log in as an author, click New Submission.
  4. The article submission stage consists of five stages, namely: (1). Starts, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
  5. In the Start column, select Journal Section (Full Article), tick all the checklists.
  6. In the Upload Submission column, upload the manuscript file in MSWord format in this column.
  7. In the Enter Metadata column, fill in all the author and affiliation data. Includes Journal Title, Abstract and Keywords.
  8. In the Upload Supplementary Files column, authors are allowed to upload supplementary files, statement letters, or others.
  9. In the Confirmation column, if the data you have entered are correct, then click Finish Submission.
  10. If the author has difficulty in the submission process through the online system, please contact the JRM technical support team.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
