Internalisasi Nilai Karakter Pada Peserta Didik di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kebumen

Abstract


ABSTRACK

This research was conducted because of the emergence of a phenomenon related to the decline in the character of students in several madrasas or schools. This research aims to analyze the efforts made to internalize character values in students at MAN 2 Kebumen. The location of this research was MAN 2 Kebumen. The method used in this research is qualitative, by conducting observations and interviews with educators, the Deputy Head of Education, the IRMAS Organization (Mosque Youth Association), and parties who play a role in the internalization of character values in the madrasa. The results of this research show that the internalization of character values in students at MAN 2 Kebumen uses habituation methods, such as the habit of praying before and after completing learning activities, welcoming students at the Madrasah gate, carrying out the Dhuha prayer, midday prayer and Asr prayer in congregation, Tadarus Al-Qur'an every Friday and reading Asmaul Husna every day, strengthening character education in order to realize students' religious moderation, implementing environmental care, with these habits it is hoped that students will be able to practice positive character values in their daily lives day.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena munculnya fenomena terkait menurunnya karakter peserta didik di beberapa madrasah atau sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya yang dilakukan dalam internalisasi nilai karakter pada peserta didik di MAN 2 Kebumen. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 2 Kebumen. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni kualitatif, dengan melakukan pengamatan serta wawancara kepada Pendidik, Waka Kepesertadidikan, Organisasi IRMAS (Ikatan Remaja Masjid), dan pihak yang berperan dalam internalisasi nilai karakter di madrasah tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai karakter pada peserta didik di MAN 2 Kebumen menggunakan metode pembiasaan, seperti pembiasaan doa sebelum dan sesudah selesai kegiatan pembelajaran, penyambutan peserta didik di pintu gerbang Madrasah, pelaksanaan sholat Dhuha, sholat Dzuhur, dan Sholat Ashar berjamaah, Tadarus Al-Qur’an setiap hari Jum’at dan membaca Asmaul Husna setiap hari, penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam rangka mewujudkan moderasi beragama peserta didik serta menerapkan peduli lingkungan, dengan pembiasaan tersebut diharapkan peserta didik mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilai karakter positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
