Isti`dal: Journal of Islamic Law Studies is an academic journal that is published twice a year, namely in June and December. This journal is published by the Islamic Family Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University, Jepara.

The focus of this journal is devoted to studies related to Islamic law, including Islamic family law, Islamic crime, Islamic politics, Islamic civil law, Islamic astronomy, Islamic economics and finance. This journal can accept contributions from experts with related disciplinary backgrounds. Articles published in this journal do not represent the views of the journal, or the institutions associated with journal publication. This journal is also a crossref member so that all articles published in this journal have a unique DOI number.
