IMPLEMENTASI TEORI HIERARKI ABRAHAM MASLOW DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA DOSEN UNISNU JEPARA

Abstract


Motivation for lecturers is very important to increase the work spirit and motivation related to an encouragement that comes out from one's self to perform the whole duty based on the responsibility of each. For a lecturer, the duty and responsibility are seen in implementing Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. The hypotheses can be taken is a lecturer who has a high work motivation will result a high performance also. Motivation is a desire in a person that causes the person to take an action. There are five needs expressed by Abraham Maslow. They are: (1) physiological needs; (2) safety needs; (3) social belonging needs; (4) esteem needs ; and (5) self-actualization needs. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the implementation model of Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs in increasing the motivation of lecturer's performance at Unisnu Jepara. The sampling technique of this study is using purposive sampling technique. It is taking data by sampling based on certain considerations. The output of this study is the publication of scientific journal.
