IMPLEMENTASI ALGORITMA GENETIKA DENGAN TOURNAMENT SELECTION SEBAGAI SOLUSI ECONOMIC DISPATCH

Abstract


Salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi kenaikan harga listrik adalah dengan melakukan optimisasi biaya pada proses produksi energi listrik. Economic Dispatch (ED) adalah salah satu metode untuk meminimilisasi biaya bahan bakar pembangkit dengan memperhitungkan rugi-rugi jaringan transmisi. Pada penelitian ini diaplikasikan metode Genetic Algorithm dengan tournament selection (AGTS) untuk menyelesaikan masalah ED. Efektifitas metode diuji pada kasus sistem IEEE 30 bus. Dari hasil simulasi, metode AGTS mampu menghasilkan solusi lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan metode Quadratic Programming.

One solution to reduce the rise of electricity cost is to make cost optimization in the process of production of electrical energy. Economic Dispatch (ED) is one method to minimize the cost of generator fuel by taking into account losses transmission network. This study applied a method genetic algorithm with tournament selection (AGTS) to solve the problem of ED. The effectiveness of the method was tested in the case of IEEE 30 bus system. From the simulation results, AGTS method is able to produce a more economical solution than the method Quadratic Programming.
