DISONANSI KOGNITIF MAHASISWA DALAM MEMILIH PROGAM STUDI MANAJEMEN DI STIENU JEPARA

Jumlah perguruan tinggi dan program studi yang sangat banyak akan mendorong calon konsumen (calon mahasiswa) lebih selektif dalam memilihnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pembentukan disonansi kognitif pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen di STIENU Jepara. Dimensi disonansi kognitif meliputi emosional (emotional), kebijaksanaan (wisdom of purchase) dan perhatian pada kesepakatan (concern over the deal). Ketiga dimensi tersebut diukur dengan 22 item indikator. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen STIENU Jepara sebanyak 65 orang yang diambil secara random proporsional. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pada dimensi emosional, mahasiswa merasa senang. Pada dimensi kebijaksanaan, mahasiswa merasa tepat. Dan pada dimensi perhatian pada mahasiswa merasa sudah mengambil keputusan yang benar.

The number of colleges and courses that are very much going to encourage prospective customers (prospective students) are more selective in your selection. This study aims to test the formation of cognitive dissonance in Management Studies Program Students in Jepara STIENU. Dimensions of cognitive dissonance involves emotional, wisdom of purchase and concern over the deal. The three dimensions are measured with a 22-item indicators. The sample was a student of Jepara STIENU Management Studies Program by 65 people taken at proportionate stratified random sampling. Analysis technique using factor analysis. The study shows that the emotional dimension, students feel happy. On the policy dimension, students feel right. And on the dimensions of attention to the student feels has made the right decision
